Mike Marvin will speak briefly about the Baha’I Faith and it’s views regarding the equality of women and men.  He will then discuss current initiatives designed to bring about more productive dialog between men and women in our community.  During this discussion he’ll explain how The Virtues Project has become a foundational piece of improving dialog.

Many people do not know that the Underground Railroad "ran" through Olean. Learn about this rich part of Olean's history as Juneteenth Olean and the newly established African American Center for Cultural Development will be presenting 'Follow the Drinking Gourd' as part of this year's Black History Month.

The sights and smells of Autumn will soon be in the air, and we will feel the energy of the Earth changing. As we pause and meditate upon the changing season we are reminded of our own transformations and mortality. We look upon the changes around us and understand that we are a part of the never-ending cycle of life and death that brings balance to the vast universe.
