January 10th at 1:00 Olean Public Library |
The group will be exploring the first principle of Unitarian Universalism - "The Inherent Worth and Dignity of Every Person" as well as "trying on" some of the elements of a UU service to see how they fit the emerging congregation. The program will include hospitality and the plan is to wrap things up around so those who wish can head over to the John Ash Community Center where Daryl Johnson will represent the Olean UU Community at the United Faith Community's (UFC) service on health care. The information on that service is as follows: Remembering Our People: A Faithful Response to the Health Care Debate We believe that the people who suffer from the current health care system should be the focus and the heart of the health care debate now in Congress. We want to help redirect attention to our brothers and sisters in need of quality and affordable health care. Please join members of our area’s faith communities Sunday, January 10, , at the John Ash Community Center in Olean, as we remember them — in prayer, in testimony, and in music. |
